Since 1990, Qualiplus is the pioneer in introducing the theme "Quality in Product Development" in Latin America. In 1995 we were already implementing Dr. Genichi Taguchi's Methods in Brazil, with special emphasis on Robust Engineering and QFD (Quality Function Deployment) for products and services. Since then, through a constant research and development of methodologies for training and consultancy, we continue as the leaders in implementing and creating cutting-edge know-how for product development.Since 1998, we are the Latin American leaders in the implementation of the revolutionary TRIZ, which summarizes the inventive principles used by the brightest minds in the last 500 years. In 2000, we were the first Brazilian consulting firm to offer training and consultancy in DFS (Design for Six Sigma). Since 2004, we offer training in the concepts and techniques of Lean Development, with the added benefit of a state-of-the-art methodology developed by Qualiplus called Design for Excellence, an innovative combination of DFSS, Lean Development, Axiomatic Design, TRIZ and Robust Engineering. Since 1984, we have accumulated vast experience in training and practical application of such methods for major companies of the most diverse industries.
For all the reasons above, Qualiplus is one of the best qualified companies to provide world-class consultancy services for Innovation and Product Development. Below you can check the various solutions we have to offer on this subject. Please contact us for detailed information about each product.
- DFSS (Design for Six Sigma)
The next evolutionary step for companies that already advanced with Six Sigma in process improvement projects and that already identified the need to act proactively from the initial stages of product development. Qualiplus is the pioneering company in the introduction of DFSS in Latin America, with important differences from the standard approach of other consulting firms.
- Lean Development
- DFE (Design for Excellence)
Integration of Lean Development, Design for Six Sigma, Axiomatic Design, TRIZ and Robust Engineering. A state-of-the-art methodology developed by Qualiplus, for companies that want to achieve radical qualitative leaps in the development of products and processes.
- TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving)
Developed from the research of millions of invention patents, TRIZ was consolidated throughout the world in the last years as the most powerful tool for increasing technical creativity. Typically, in just one day of work, a product development or process improvement team can generate many innovative conceptual solutions for a very tough technical problem. Qualiplus was the first to promote TRIZ training and consulting in Latin America, and has implemented dozens of cases in the industry since 1998.
- Taguchi Methods of Robust Engineering
The most powerful system developed by Dr. Taguchi for optimization of products and industrial processes, bringing several advantages over the traditional DOE (Design of Experiments). It is a key tool for Six Sigma Black Belts. As the only Brazilian representative of the American Supplier Institute (worldwide competence center for Taguchi Methods), Qualiplus pioneered the introduction of Robust Engineering in Latin America, and since 1990, implemented more than one hundred successful cases in large companies.
- MTS (Mahalanobis - Taguchi System): optimization of multivariate diagnostics systems.
The most recent method developed by Dr. Taguchi for the optimization of multivariate diagnostics systems was first introduced in Brazil and Latin America by Qualiplus. It finds numerous applications in the industry, such as on medical diagnostics, financial or insurance risk assessment, sales and automated inspection/test, to name just a few.
- Value Engineering and Analysis
- VOC (Voice of the Customer): how to understand the customer and identify opportunities in the market.
The starting point to establish sound improvement priorities focused on the real needs of the customers. This name has been highly used (and abused) in the market, but Qualiplus developed an exclusive methodology that is being successfully applied in several companies to identify their most important improvement projects.
- QFD (Quality Function Deployment): better projects, in half of the time.
Based on the results of the VOC (Voice of the Customer), QFD is the ideal methodology to detail, determine priorities and coordinate the critical improvement efforts during the introduction of new products.
- Quick FMEA®: how to increase the effectiveness of critical analysis of products and processes.
